that was a fun pub session

although in hindsight, maybe i drank a little too much. ali had to go to the pharmacy on our way home, so i ended up amusing myself with the blood pressure monitor thingie a little too much. that, and i was using those little wallet sized magnifying lense thingies as a monocle, tromping around the pharmacy speaking german.

when we went back last night (my poor ali has a wound), there was an instant sense of recognition from the girl at the counter.

today is a stunning day. i'm going to head over to the gun club later on, though i really should get over to the course. that will be tomorrow. oh yes. tomorrow.

poor ali. she should be better by saturday, after her dentist appointment. that, or i'll be up on charges of manslaughter for wasting the dentist.

hmmm...what else?

we leave for europe on the 21st of june, which is fast approaching. i am eagerly anticipating the whole thing.

back to drinking on tuesday. all my regular buddies were there, and it was nice. there were 7 of us total, including ali, and the drinks just flew around. the conversation was hilarious, often bordering on the crazy, and it was a much needed classic pub evening.

i've figured out that the trick to not getting the spins after 3 pints and 5 ounces of jameson is to have just eaten a hurley burger. mmmmmm.

tonight is the usual casual evening chez marcmarcmarc, which when coupled with a martini should suffice to relax me just fine.
