Ah, the Golden Age of Materialism. I'm curious about something. Do any of you (my legion and legion of reader) have a single item or purchase in mind that you're convinced would change your life considerably for the better? Chime in.

I would say a house...mostly becasue we need more room and a larger yard (and Mistair Noohton would love to have a garden to putter around in). And as much as I love the layout of this apt, having a house would allow us to do any changes/reno if we see it's needed...now we want to do some changes but pretty much can't because it isn't ours...
