soooooo much talking!

i HATE floyd mayweather jr. not because he was awarded the victory against oscar de la hoya, but because he's the alex kovalev of boxing. he's got incredible talent, but is utterly lazy. how the fuck can you win if you only throw 25 punches a round? yes, you're supremely accurate, but you're not that strong, and against a focused lethal opponent, you spend the majority of your time looking after your face.
ugh.
he's TERRIBLE for the sport. oh, and someone should remind the judges that they are supposed to score based on EFFECTIVE AGGRESSIVENESS. ie, if your attack disrupts your opponent more than his does yours. and that was DEFINITELY the case saturday night. had oscar not attacked at all, floyd would have spent the entire fight sitting down in the corner. oscar's offense prevented floyd from doing the only thing he knows how, which is to counterpunch, and whenever floyd tried to go on the offense, it did nothing to discourage oscar whatsoever. game, point, and match. but there's more money in a "grudge" rematch, so on go the crooked decisions.
