i just watched the trailor (trailer?) for Inglorious Bastards. highly impressive stuff.
y'know, every once in a while some of us get to experience/witness/live through stuff that changes our path, or makes us aware of a fork in the road.
it's unfortunate when that something occurs at a very difficult point in one's life. it's akin to speeding down the highway, and only noticing an exit to a desired destination when nearly upon it.
it's entirely possible to make the exit ramp, but there is a great degree of risk involved as well as a much more carefully applied touch at the wheel, accompanied by a heaping spoonful of luck and skill...
had i looked carefully at the map about 12 or so years ago and realistically charted its information, i could have already been on that road, rather than careening down the one i find myself on, scanning the side for a shoulder wide enough to pull over on to...
