impulse shopping

you ever buy an expensive pair of shoes or a nice jacket on a whim? well, you should try impulse corporation shopping for a bit of variety. we are in the middle (and by middle i mean the decision to go ahead was made yesterday and the move has to be done by tomorrow) of a nice acquisition. i had to find industrial movers yesterday, and today/tomorrow the big stuff starts shuffling over. where are we going to put everything (ie, all the machinery)? who knows...

my day is fuxxored, and a good chunk of the day tomorrow is also ruined, but hey. i should still be able to head over to marcmarcmarc's by about 5 or 6. argh. sooooo sleepy.

hopefully i can finish what needs to be finished and zip over there straight away.

the cost of the move? i wish you wouldn't ask that. ugh.

but Yay! (at least from a corporate point of view). now we'll have a pretty amazing product line, apart from the manufacturing and turnkey stuff we do for others.

let's hope everything goes without a hitch.

my imagination is just starving

again. i'm going to binge this weekend, however. netfest, for the ultimate geek-off. horror flic at some point. sunday? early morning downtown breakfast, followed by mid-morning awesome book shopping (gotta get some good sci-fi going), and then some serious cafe sitting.
i should check with any like-minded folk if they want in.
by like minded, i mean the following. assuming decent weather, we're at the santropol terrace at 11:30 (that's when they open, and if the weather holds, the terrace will be FULL by 12:00), where we are sitting back, chilling, drinking hobbit tea, and basically revelling in the fall.
k, so i'm a freak. back off, i have a gun.

and the sooner i get there, the happier i'll be. hoo boy.
oh, and my lappy 6000 goes to dr. marcmarcmarc's for an enema, so it should be good to go for saturday's netfest.

it's kinda like the technology race. when one company falls behind in R&D, it's next to impossible for them to ever reverse the slippery slope descent.

her tooth is really causing her some discomfort. luckily, she only has to endure until tomorrow.

as for me? well, haven't won the lottery yet, so my master plan goes unfulfilled.

time to switch to plan B. gonna get a schedule together, budget this out, and see what's what. i give it 10 years maximum.

i swear, i can taste the pint already. it's slightly cool to the touch, and has beads of water dripping down its sides. The color within is akin to burnt molasses, or maybe finely ground espresso coffee beans. The last half inch of the glass is taken up by a very light caramel colored foam made up of densely packed teeny tiny little bubbles, each of which contains a small angel whose sole purpose is to create a powerful sensation of pleasure and relaxation within your brain. it's true. i can prove it.

also looking forward to next month, when the insidious rumor of a certain alan returning to montreal should be confirmed.

so anyway, a nice weekend looms ahead. LOOOOOOMS.

the weekend was relaxing, and we even managed to have some fun.
yesterday i saw my buddy, who apparently has escaped from the sinister clutches of that cult he's joined. :)

this morning promises to be irritating, of course. and after the mini-migraine of last night, i'm in EXCELLENT shape to deal with it.

hoo boy. those headache jobbies really really tax the sanity, they do.

that every single person i've encountered recently (excepting a couple or rather a single of my friends) at some point or other, shortly after I first encounter them for the day, creates an almost overpowering urge within me to FUCKING STRANGLE them?

what the hell am i supposed to do? I'm going to be trapped in a small-ish cottage with my immediate family and i'm sure to go insane. it's gotta be something wrong with me...
